Lorene K. Treece, 95, of Marshall, formerly of Sweet Springs, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs, with the Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Born July 5, 1923, in rural Sweet Springs, Lorene was the daughter of the late Martin Lemler and Anna Kuecker Lemler. She lived in Saline County her entire life and was a 1942 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. On Nov. 6, 1975, she married Francis A. Treece, who preceded her in death on June 27, 1983. She was owner and operator of Lorene’s Flower Shop in Sweet Springs. She was a Christian and enjoyed her cats, reading, silk floral arranging and crafts.

Survivors include four sons, Philip Roscher and wife Mary of Independence, Curtis Roscher of Kansas City, Kan., David Roscher and wife Sharon of rural Marshall, and Dennis Roscher and wife Sharon of Kansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
