Winn pleads guilty on three felony drug counts
A Marshall man received a 15-year prison sentence Monday, Aug. 8, relating to the distribution of cocaine on Oct. 15, 2015.
Corey Dorain Winn, 37, entered a guilty plea to three separate counts of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, a class B felony. For each count, Winn was sentenced to serve 15 years with the department of corrections, though those sentences will be served concurrently.
Without the plea agreement offered in the case, Winn could have faced a sentence 10-30 years or life imprisonment on each count if found guilty.
