Bobby and Tracee Peters (from left), owners of Serenity Massage Studio, host an open house of their new location Thursday, April 7, along with massage therapists Sarah Behm, Cynthia Long and yoga instructor Imani A. Johnson (seated) in the yoga room at the studio's new location. Behind them are several massage rooms where therapists provide services such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, chair, and pregnancy and prenatal massages. They also offer a couples massage, foot treatments, and sinus and headache relief massages.
Tracee, who is also a massage therapist, said the new location gives them the ability to provide more services. In addition to now having three, rather than two therapists, yoga classes for all skill levels is a new addition to Serenity Massage Studio. Johnson will also teach essential oil classes.
The studio is now located at 779 S. Odell Ave. Suite 3, in Marshall. According to the organization's website, Serenity Massage Studio specializes in relieving pain and stress, and therapists will spend time with the client prior to the session to better understand their needs.
