MVC purchases land for future growth

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

The Missouri Valley College Board of Trustees approved the purchase of properties adjacent to the northeast corner of the MVC campus. The purchase was completed in May 2014 and in July the structures were razed. The purchase included properties located on College Street, Conway Avenue, Sharp Avenue and Laura Street. The land will be used for future growth of the campus, yet to be determined.

"We're excited about this purchase and the opportunity to expand in the future," said MVC President Dr. Bonnie Humphrey.

  • A school bought land to use at a later date on future projects? What an outrage, I can't believe a school would do such a thing!
