Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Caton Painter, 52, of Huntersville, N.C., formerly of Cooper County, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, in Huntersville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshal,l with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Salt Fork Cemetery in Cooper County. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice House. Born June 22, 1961, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late D. Edward Caton and Elsie Hanlin Caton Allen, who survives of Slater. She was a 1979 graduate of Boonville High School and a 1984 graduate of School of the Ozarks with a business administration degree. On June 1, 1985, she married Les Painter, who survives of the home.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her stepdad, Lawrence Allen; six brothers; four sisters; and many family and friends who loved her dearly.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and James David; and one nephew.
