National small farm trade show set for Nov. 1-2
According to Missouri Farmer Today, anyone interested in farming or gardening will find something worthwhile at the 21st National Small Farm Trade Show and Conference Nov. 1-2 at the Central Missouri Event Center, formerly known as the Boone County Fairground.
In addition to 20,000 square feet of vendors, this year's trade show will feature seminars, three-hour short courses, demonstrations, assoiciation meetings and more.
The keynote speaker will be Robert Kinkhead, DVM, a veterinarian who has transitioned his cattle to mob grazing. Kinkhead is a frequent columnist in Small Farm Today magazine and has been a trade show speaker in the past.
Also, Greg Judy, a rotational grazing expert, will speak Saturday morning.
Other speakers will talk about heritage breed livestock, sustainable crops, fruit tree, soil health and much more.
Other topics will be addressed in round-table talks and seminars.
In addition, there will be several breeds of small farm livestock on display and a poultry exhibition.
