Jail deputies bring in support from Marshall for unruly inmate

An situation involving an inmate at the Saline County Justice Facility required deputies to call for assistance at the jail.

Marshall Police responded to the jail to assist deputies in controlling an inmate who "went off and broke a window in a pod."

According to sheriff's reports, the inmate threw two large plastic jugs of water into a window, causing it to break. The inmate was apparently responding to another inmate's accusation of being a "snitch," according to reports.

After the inmate was handcuffed, sheriff's reports claim, he requested to be restrained by the restraint chair.
