About 10 youngsters competed in the pedal tractor pull Sunday, July 18, one of a number of activities for families on the last day of the Saline County Fair.

Brock Marshall won the under-50-pounds class, and Kable Wright took second place.

In the 50- to 75-pound class, Jared Coyer took first place, Michael Dierking took second and Hannah Marshall placed third.

In the 75-pounds-and-up class, Jacob Dierking took first place.

Crowds lined up to feast on the annual breakfast country style ham, biscuits and gravy, eggs and grits. Some of the ham served was made by 4-H kids, purchased at the Junior Livestock Sale Friday night and donated back to the fair.

The chapel was nearly full for the 9 a.m. worship service directed by Richard Clemens and with the sermon from William Harlow.
