Rummage sale at Hayob Building canceled

A rummage sale planned at the high-rise building at 275 S. Redman in Marshall Feb. 1 through Feb. 3 to benefit the Fitzgibbon Cancer Center has been canceled due to illness and forecasts of extremely cold weather, according to organizers.

Stephens to speak at Agri-Leaders meeting in Alma

David and Sharon Stephens will present the program for the Monday, Feb. 5, Santa Fe Agri-Leaders meeting, according to a news release from the organization.

The Stephenses will share information and stories about their duties as farm managers for Zeysing Farms. The Zeysing Farm operation consists of more than 5,000 acres of row crop and 15,000 sows at seven locations.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the agriculture classroom at Santa Fe High School in Alma. Everyone is invited.
