Butterfield Youth Services announced on Friday, May 19, a clarification of arrangements for the conclusion of the benefit poker run Sunday, June 4.

Matt Van Vactor, director of community relations, said no alcohol will be served on the patio at Bogey's Restraurant and Lounge, where the BYS activities will take place.

"We want the public to know that BYS is alcohol-free in all activities," he said.

He said Bogey's has pledged to donate a percentage of the proceeds from sales of food and non-alcholic drinks during the post-run activities.

The annual poker run and rubber duck race help raise money to fund programs at BYS.

Contact Van Vactor or Lori Blalock at (660) 886-2253 for more information.

Event business sponsors are currently providing adoption papers for ducks, which go for $5 each or six for $25.

The first poker hand is $15 and includes a duck adoption. Additional hands can be purchased for $10 each and additional duck adoptions for $5 each.
