Irvin Aulgur Jr., 90, of rural Marshall, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with the Rev. Ronnie Aulgur and the Rev. Claude Fields officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Marshall Baptist Temple. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com. Born June 29, 1925, in Saline County, Irvin was the son of the late Irvin Aulgur Sr. and Maudie Mae Wickliff Aulgur. On Jan. 18, 1947, he married Eleanor Scott, who survives of the home. He had lived in Saline County his entire life where he was a farmer and a member of Marshall Baptist Temple. In addition to his wife, Eleanor, Irvin is survived by four children, Jimmie Aulgur and wife Carolyn of rural Marshall, Ronnie Aulgur and wife Wanita of Burbank, Ill., Donna Wood and husband Marvin of Del Rio, Texas, and Paul Aulgur and wife Janice of rural Marshall; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert "Bob" Aulgur of Gallatin; and several nieces and nephews. ents are pending at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
