MMU approves replacing sewer main on Jefferson Street

Marshall Municipal Utilities' Board of Public Works met for its regular meeting Thursday, May 1, to approve Underground Facilities Director Monty Chase's recommendation of replacing the sewer main on Jefferson Street for approximately $80,000. In his report, Chase stated they have received the final design plan for the project from Shafer, Kline & Warren, MMU's engineering and surveying firm, and the "new design relocated the wastewater flow to another drainage area. ...
