Marshall school board approves salary hike for teachers

The Marshall board of education voted Tuesday, June 25, to give teachers a $250 increase to all base salaries. The increase comes short of the minimum increase requested by the Community Teachers Association during a previous board meeting. At that board meeting, held May 21, CTA's representative Jim Papreck said their most frugal recommendation would be a base salary increase of $200 while increasing the salary steps from $680 to $720 for each year of experience...
