Leo Martin, 81, of Slater, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Slater, with Rev. Robert Sisney officiating. Bethany Weiker, organist, will accompany Gerald Gerhard as he sings, "The Sweet By-and-By" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Man shot in foot Monday in apparent hunting accident

A Lake St. Louis man was injured Monday morning in an apparent hunting accident in Saline County, according to a Sheriff's Department report.
