A Grand Pass farmer reported what he believed was an attempt to steal a loaded grain truck Thursday, Oct. 9. According to an incident report from Saline County Sheriff's Department, Fred W. Utlaut said he'd last seen the truck, with a full load of corn, parked in a field in the Grand Pass bottoms on Wednesday evening, Oct. 8. Raytown woman charged with leaving the scene of accident in Marshall

Ardito, 25, of Raytown, has been charged with the class D felony of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in connection with an incident that occurred in the late evening hours of Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Marshall.
