A Grand Pass farmer reported what he believed was an attempt to steal a loaded grain truck Thursday, Oct. 9. According to an incident report from Saline County Sheriff's Department, Fred W. Utlaut said he'd last seen the truck, with a full load of corn, parked in a field in the Grand Pass bottoms on Wednesday evening, Oct. 8.
