Letter to the Editor: Evil in high places

Monday, October 26, 2020

Our wrestling is “not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places” (Ephesians 6:11-12).

I start this way because the time is short and only God can turn it around, or mitigate his judgment for a little while longer so that we can bring more souls to him. The evil in high places, of course, is initiated by Satan, and it does put many souls at risk of hell for eternity.

The battle is spiritual. If you were to die today, ask yourself where would you be for eternity — not where would you and your loved ones want to be. As of this moment, unless leadership in education, churches, government and media do not repent and turn from evil, they will go to hell for eternity.

Do you really love ones who are Marxist/communists or fake Catholics in government and especially the Catholic Church, like Biden, Pelosi, Cupich, Bambara, J. Martin, J. Tobin, W. Gregory, and McCarrick? If not, warn them and go to your knees and pray for them. These shepherds will not see a holy God if they do not repent. No one in the hierarchy of the entities above should be followed. Ask yourself if you are culpable of murder if you vote for someone who is pro-choice.

In Proverbs 6:16-19, God says, “Six things there are, which the Lord hates, and the seventh his soul detests. Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood (this is preeminent), a heart that devises wicked plots, feet that are swift to run to mischief, a deceitful witness that utters lies, and him that sows discord among brethren.”

We have many shepherds that are complicit in evil, and many more who are culpable by their silence, whether it is fear or because of poor formation. Know that God made it simple for you and them. Luke 11:23 says “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.”
