Lyceum Theatre postpones the rest of summer and fall programming

Monday, June 29, 2020

The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre stated this was a difficult decision, but decided to postpone the remainder of the 60th season.

On Monday morning, June 29, the Lyceum Theatre posted an update on its Facebook page, explaining the theater would wait until 2021 to celebrate the 60th season. However, the organization said it will continue to evaluate the practicality of “A Christmas Carol” in the coming months.

In a statement from the Saline County Health Department, Administrator Tara Brewer said:

“Our hearts are broken that The Lyceum is postponing the remainder of its season through November, but in this uncertain time this is best for their actors, employees and patrons. Saline County Health Department supports The Lyceum in this difficult decision, and agree that opening the doors at this time may be an unnecessary risk.”
