Letter to the Editor: Phone calls
Here is a challenge to the people of Marshall and surrounding areas: We keep saying “what can I do to help?” Because of my age and health, I cannot get out. But I can help by calling on the phone three to four persons per day — not email, texts or Facebook, but calling and talking to them.
You have the time, you are shut in, and lots of people you have not talked to for a long time would love to hear from you. You could write a letter or card. Then you can challenge them to make calls or write three to four people all over the country, or just in town.
We need the love so much at this time — so let’s do this.
