Reuben G. Baril
Reuben G. Baril, 94, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of Marshall, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at Balfour Senior Living in Littleton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow and Pastor Ralph Varner officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Malta Bend Cemetery in Malta Bend, Mo. Memorials may be made to Malta Bend Cemetery. Born Aug. 30, 1925, in Lake Linden, Mich., Reuben was the son of the late Arthur Baril and Mary Louise Bordeau Baril. He was a graduate of Lake Linden High School. On Nov. 24, 1951, he married Doris Lunbeck, who preceded him in death on July 4, 2013. He was a retired safety engineer with Hercules Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in Salt Lake City from 1959 to 1986 and Marshall from 1986 to 2008, when they moved to Denver. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post No. 558 and Malta Bend United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jana Money (David) of Littleton; two granddaughters, Andrea Money and Erica Money; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Charlie; one sister, Dorie Julio; one brother, Urban (Tib) Baril; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Reuben was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
