Mae Ann Lewis Davis, 85, of Marshall, died Sunday, March 17, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Racine, Wisc.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born Sept. 18, 1933, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Epperson and Nancy Fancher Epperson. Mae was a resident of Saline County most of her life and a graduate of Slater High School. On Nov. 28, 1953, she married John Hall Lewis, who preceded her in death on June 7, 1991. On June 22, 1996, she married Fred H. Davis, who preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 2001. Following her retirement from Marshall Habilitation Center, she spent her time as a very faithful caregiver for her family. Mae was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include four children, John Lewis (Joan) of rural Marshall, Nancy Brinker (Steve) of Racine, Wisc., Judy Morris (Rick) of Marshall, and Dan Lewis (Nancy) of rural Slater; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Chris Jones; and one brother, Geary Epperson.
