MHS class of 1963 celebrates 55th class reunion
The Marshall High School class of 1963 celebrated its 55th class reunion Saturday, Aug. 4. It was held at Stone Hedge Golf Club with a noon luncheon and evening social, picture, meal and dance. The 33 classmates who have passed were recognized with a time of remembrance. A poem about a 55th reunion, sent by Chris Macey, was read by emcee Joe Humphreys. Also honored and attending were teachers Howard Bell and wife Zelia, and Wayne O’Neal. Classmates and guest Norma Jeane Ferguson on base, Mary Harrell Lawrence on ukulele, and Sam Motel, Sandra Napier, Mary Fischer Thompson and Wilma Robinson Cook, who sang, provided musical entertainment.
