1 injured in Cooper Co. crash

A Marshall man sustained injuries when the vehicle he was in crashed in Cooper County early Sunday, July 22.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. when a 2005 Toyota Corolla failed to negotiate a curve at Route HH at School House Road. The Corolla went off the roadway, injuring occupant James Jones, 30, of Marshall. The report states he was wearing a safety device and was transported to a hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. The driver did not sustain any reported injuries.
