Cash register reported stolen Sunday
On Sunday, July 8, at approximately 7:30 a.m., an employee at Patty’s Hav-A-Snak contacted Saline County 911 to report a burglary, according to a Marshall Police Department report.
When officers arrived, they observed the door to have been forced open using what appeared to be a crowbar-type tool. Business cards were reportedly on the floor and the cash register was missing from the Eastwood Street business.
Employees told officers the cash register had been removed from the business and were unsure how much money was taken, the report said. Employees also reported a change bag was missing.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Marshall Police Department at 660-886-7411 or by email at marshallmopolice.com.
