Arya was 2 and a half years old. Her favorite color was pink. She loved to color and trace her letters. She was the most precious gift anyone could ever receive. There are so many ways I could describe her short time here on Earth, but instead I will write her this letter.

My Dearest Sweetest Baby Girl,

You will never know the amount of love I have for you. You were the best parts of me and everything that made me whole. You were my sunshine on a rainy day. Each and every moment with you was the best moment of my life. From when you smiled your first smile because your Daddy was making funny faces, to when you learned how to walk at only 8 1/2 months. You were the smartest, sassiest toddler Iíve ever known. You were always ready to learn how to do things yourself because ďI got dis mommy, I got disĒ. Baby girl, every memory I have of you is the most precious thing I have. And while I know I will never get to send you off to your first day of school, or give you dating advice, or see you graduate, or walk down aisle, I know that you are up in heaven with your family who loves you just as much as your Daddy and I do. You werenít here with me very long but baby girl you taught me so much. You taught me that there is unconditional love that isnít bought or earned but just is. You taught me how to be strong when I was weak. You taught me itís okay to forget the dishes and have a dance party. My sweet, sweet little girl. There will never be a moment that you arenít in your daddyís and my thoughts. But if you canít be with us, we are glad you are with those who love you. We love you more than the fish in the sea and the stars in the sky. Be free my sweet precious child.

Love, Mommy
