Anna Marcella Fudge
Anna Marcella Fudge, 77, of Marshall, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at The Bluffs in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Special Olympics, and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Feb. 17, 1941, in Fayette, she was the daughter of the late John Rhea and Grace Desmond Rhea. On Jan. 28, 1956, she married Frank R. Fudge, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1998. Anna lived in Marshall most of her life where she was a homemaker, as well as babysitting in her home. She was proud to have worked in the Foster Grandparent program.
Survivors include five children, Ricky Fudge of Marshall, Gary Fudge of Marshall, Grace Kendall of Lacey, Wash., Carl Fudge and wife Zina of Columbia, and Paul Fudge of Marshall; three grandchildren, Trier Winter and husband Jared, Trina Henderson and husband Jason, and Delayne Fudge; two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Hudson Winter; two sisters, Bessie Short and Flora Lemn, both of Slater; as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by a half-brother, Carl Desmond.
