Truth of love: Prophetic purpose

Friday, March 2, 2018

Yesterday, March 1, ended 2018 Purim, this originates in the book of Esther. I write about it today to share that scripture has no mistakes. There are no contradictions in the Bible, but rather God’s purpose revealed, even if not understood at the time it was written.

In the book of Esther, we read that Queen Esther, who can ask for anything from the King, requests that the sons of the evil Haman be hung. Odd or erroneous? She previously reported to the King that the sons died in battle, yet she says “…to do tomorrow as they have done today…” Now, since I teach that there are no mistakes in the holy scriptures, what is this? Strange still, the sons’ names are written in a vertical column rather than sentence format like the rest of the scroll. Why?

When reading it in Hebrew, the column of names draws our attention to three letters within those names that for 20 centuries have been written smaller than the rest of the letters. No one knew why. Remember, this is written four centuries before the Messiah is born, yet it was faithfully recorded as directed by Queen Esther. Those three letters, the tuff (400), shin (300) and zain (7) are the small letters accompanied by one larger letter than all the letters in the names. It is in the last name, this largest letter is the vav (6) representing the sixth millennium. Those letters with numerical equivalent state the Hebrew year 5707, which was 1946.

1946 was the year that the evil notorious ten Nazi leaders under Hitler were hung.

It is also interesting to note that if it had not been for the appeals for amnesty, the year would have been wrong according to the Hebrew calendar. The trials ended in June of 1946 (Hebrew calendar 5706), but the executions postponed due to the attempt at amnesty were not until October 1946 — making it 5707 year of the Hebrew calendar. In addition, Haman’s daughter committed suicide and Goring, a transvestite, committed suicide in his cell the night before the hanging (if he had not there would have been eleven hung rather than ten). The most stunning confirmation that the scripture was prophetic truth was reported by American journalist Kingsbury Smith, “Streicher was swung suddenly to face the witnesses, and he glared at them. Suddenly he screamed, “Purim Fest 1946.”

Queen Esther did not make a mistake, nor did the faithful scribes. The Rabbi’s, who were considering leaving the book of Esther out of the Bible because it is the only book where God was not specifically mentioned, did not. They were led to leave it in. God may not be specifically mentioned, but we clearly see him at work.

Some say this was all coincidence, many of us say this a God incident for it the Esther prophecy. His way will be revealed for he will prevail over evil even when nations and people refuse to recognize him, the one true living God, the creator of the universe, the Holy Scriptures prove it. There are no mistakes in the word of God.

Blessings and Shalom
