Helen L. Doud Bueker
Helen L. Doud Bueker, 62, of Marshall, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with the Rev. Randy Huff officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Born Dec. 27, 1955, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Earl F. Doud and Helen Maxine Huff Doud Combs. Helen lived in Marshall most of her life and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She worked in nursing homes through the years as a nurses’ aide, as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, both in Sedalia.
She is survived by three children, Melinda Wolfe of Alton, Matthew Charlton of Warrensburg, and Jason Charlton of Sedalia; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Plains, Vicki Surber and Wanda Money, all of Marshall; her companion, Rusty Scarborough of Marshall; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Combs; one brother, Earl Edward Doud; and one nephew, Randy Apel.
