The combined youth group of First Christian and Covenant Presbyterian churches announced they would again be participating in the 2018 Souper Bowl of Caring.
On Saturday, Feb. 3, youth will be at the Marshall Walmart, collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations for the Community Food Pantry.†Through this experience, they learn the power of working together to make a difference in the lives of others.
Souper Bowl of Caring uses the energy around our nationís largest sporting event to mobilize and inspire youth to fight hunger and poverty. Students develop a stronger connection to their communities as they collect food and raise money for charities that provide shelter to the homeless, food to the hungry and compassion to those in need.
