Receipts: 589 Week Ago: 550 Year Ago: N/A

Compared to last week, few true comparisons could be made to the loads of yearlings offered this week that made up a large percentage of the feeders. However, a steady undertone was noted. A few inches of snow overnight discouraged producers to move cattle and restricted receipts. Demand was moderate with a light to moderate supply. The feeder offering included 43 percent steers and bulls and 57 percent heifers with 82 percent over 600 lbs.

Cows and bulls totaled 6 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower.
