Snip N’ Clip owner Cynthia Henke (fourth from right), along with Dani Wolfe, Whitney Hinnah and Breeanne Thomas cut the ceremonial ribbon during a Marshall Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Jan. 12.
Henke — who worked for the company for six years, and managed it the past four — purchased Snip N’ Clip. It officially became her business Nov. 24, 2017.
“I think it’s wonderful that it’s a local salon,” she said, noting the previous owner lived in Olathe, Kan. “I’ve had the chance to update the salon, lowered the haircut price … It’s nice to be in control of the direction it’s going.”
As of Jan. 12, the company was the newest chamber member. Located at 807 Cherokee Drive, Suite 3, it employs five stylists and offers haircuts, perms, color and facial waxing services. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome.
