Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers and heifers traded with a steady to weak undertone. Some freezing rain on Sunday hampered receipts for the first sale of the year, however some warmer temps and sunshine have arrived for a few days. Demand was moderate with a light to moderate supply. The feeder offering included 45 percent steers and bulls, 55 percent heifers with 72 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 22 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-5.00 higher compared to three weeks ago.
