Jean Weinrich, 91, of Harrisonville, formerly of Marshall, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society. Born Nov. 17, 1926, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Twilling and Louise Burgard Twilling. On Jan. 21, 1947, she married Henry J. Weinrich, who preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1986. Jean was a graduate of Mercy Academy in Marshall and then attended Benedictine Sisters of Mt. Scholastica in Atchison, Kan. She lived in Marshall most of her life, moving to Harrisonville 30 years ago, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include one son, Bill Weinrich and wife Cheryl of Aurora; one daughter, Barbara Klinge of Harrisonville; eight grandchildren, Linc Weinrich, Cory Weinrich, Tyler Weinrich, Dylan Weinrich, Tucker Weinrich, Nicholas Klinge, Patrick Klinge and Reagan Fraser; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Dotty Odell of Blue Springs; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by two sons, Jim and Steve Weinrich; three brothers, Joe, Roy and Art Twilling; and one sister, Mary Lou Paxton.
