Compared to last week, steer calves under 600 lbs traded 5.00-10.00 higher, with too few comparable sales of heavier weights for a price trend. Heifers sold mostly steady. A substantial rain over the weekend hampered receipts. Demand was moderate with a light supply. Mostly un weaned calves carrying some flesh selling in small groups offered. The feeder offering was made up of near 59 percent steers and bulls, 41 percent heifers with 32 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 29 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-5.00 lower.

Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-450 lbs 184.00-190.00; 500-600 lbs 162.00-176.50; pkg 690 lbs 152.00, pkg 653 lbs calves 144.00. Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 643 lbs 150.00, pkg 670 lbs calves 142.00; pkg 700 lbs 146.00.

Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 158.00-160.00; 500-600 lbs 141.25-150.00. Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 397 lbs 161.00; 400-500 lbs 155.00-160.00; 500-550 lbs 143.00-148.50; 600-700 lbs calves 132.00; pkg 943 lbs 126.00. Medium 1-2 pkg 562 lbs fleshy 132.00.
