Chamber awarded contract for Marshall License Office
In the next fiscal year, management of the Marshall License Office will change once more.
According to a press release issued Oct. 11, the Missouri Office of Administration in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue awarded the management contract to the Marshall Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Director Jeanette Klinge stated they are very pleased to have secured the bid.
All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a bidding process — offices are operated by independent agents but overseen by the Department of Revenue.
More than 38,000 transactions were conducted at the Marshall office in fiscal year 2017, according to the DOR. This generated approximately $126,330 in agent processing fees.
