Kerbs,Best united in holy matrimony

Mary Katherine Kerbs and Lyle Best were united in marriage on June 3, 2017, at 4:30 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nevada, Mo., with the Rev. Chris Deines officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Nancy Kerbs of Nevada, Mo., and was given in marriage by her father, Larry.

The groom is the son of the late Kay Best, and Richard and Judy Best of Marshall.

Friend of the bride, Katlyn Douglas, served as matron of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Skylar Simpson, Kat Schneckloth, Emily Berendt, Isabelle Stephens and Lula Stephens, all friends of the bride. Their dresses were blush pink, knee length, chiffon dresses in their chosen style. Their bouquets included pink roses and white hydrangeas.

Friend of the groom, Grant Berendt, served as best man. James Frank and Sean Crane, both friends of the groom, and Thomas Kerbs, brother of the groom, served as groomsmen.

The ushers were Jordan Howard and Corbin Howard, nephews of the groom.

Sarah Lathrop and Darrell Jarman served as organist and/or soloist.

Ring bearers were Gaines Berendt and Timmy Frank, both friends of the bride and groom.

Flower girls were Gibson Berendt and Ava Frank, both friends of the bride and groom.

Boston Howard, nephew of the groom, and Sam Stephens, friend of the bride, served as candle lighters.

The bride wore an Allure ball gown with short sleeves, lace detail and chapel train. Her veil was a cathedral length tulle edged with lace from the brideís grandmotherís wedding dress. Her bouquet included pink roses and white hydrangeas.

The church was decorated with altar arrangements of white hydrangeas, white roses and blush pink silk pew bows with greenery.

The reception was held at 3 Cedars Event Center in Nevada, Mo.

After a trip to Niagara Falls, N.Y., the couple is residing in Linn, Mo.
