Jewell Stark, 91, of Marshall, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Born Sept. 1, 1925, in Cross Timbers, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Robbins and Nancy Burris Robbins. On Dec. 7, 1941, she married William Vencel Stark, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1997. Jewell lived in Saline County most of her life where she worked at Banquet Foods for nearly 40 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include five children, Carol Bridges and husband Leon of rural Sweet Springs, William Stark of Sedalia, Lereta Heiman and husband James of Nixa, Estal Stark and wife Diana of Marshall, and Nancy Hisle and husband Joe of Marshall; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Verba Mueller of Cross Timbers and Ethel Wilson of Redlands, Calif.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters-in-law, Louise and Yolanda Stark; one granddaughter, Lisa Ann Eddy; one great-great-granddaughtr; three brothers; and two sisters.
