Woman charged with Marshall Walmart burglary

One Marshall woman, classified as homeless, was charged with a class B felony of first degree burglary in Saline County Monday, July 24, as well as a class A misdemeanor of stealing.

Brandi L. Luffy, 34, allegedly admitted on a Marshall Police Department Voluntary Statement Form that she entered the Marshall Walmart on July 24 with the intent of shoplifting. According to the probable cause statement, Luffy stole items with a combined value of $91, including two pairs of shoes, two portable phone chargers, a flashlight, one pair of shorts, one shirt and one pair of sleepwear.

Luffy reportedly had been previously trespassed from the Marshall Walmart on March 21.
