MFA Oil grant to fund new freezers and refrigerator for food pantry

The Marshall Community Food Pantry receives a $2,600 grant from the MFA Oil Foundation Friday, May 19. The funds will go to purchase four chest freezers and one refrigerator that will replace older models at the pantry that were not energy efficient. The MFA Oil Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations that are working to improve communities where MFA Oil has a significant concentration of members and employees. It has awarded more than $1 million in grants since it was established in 1998.
