Patsy Gregg Chapter holds May meeting
The Patsy Gregg Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution met with the Missouri Pioneers and Marshall and Arrow Rock chapters at the Blackwater Depot for a visit with the state regent.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag was led by Treva Freeze, Missouri Pioneers. The National Anthem was led by Barbara Thieman, Arrow Rock. The American's Creed was led by Carol McInteer, Patsy Gregg. The Pledge of Allegiance to the State of Missouri was led by Doris Carpenter, Marshall. The invocation and grace was led by Deanna Sporleder and the luncheon was served.
A short program about the World War I monument and the Pantheon de La Guerra was given by Susan Bowman, the Missouri State DAR regent. She also talked about the state regent's projects, which include remodeling the kitchen at Roslyn Heights and digitalizing records.
Gifts were presented to the state regent by each chapter.
Members were led in reciting The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America by Elaine Osborn and the meeting was adjourned.
