Compared to two weeks ago, yearlings sold 5.00-10.00 higher and a light test of calves sold with a higher undertone. Demand was good with a heavy supply. The feeder market continues to gain strength and optimism from the CME which soared higher on Monday for Feeder Cattle. The feeder offering was made up of near 65 percent steers and bulls, 35 percent heifers with 84 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 12 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher.

Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 180.00-190.00; 500-600 lbs 171.50-183.50; 600-700 lbs 155.00-168.50, pkg 647 lbs calves 152.25; 700-800 lbs 150.50; 800-900 lbs 135.00-147.85. Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 430 lbs 180.00; pkg 691 lbs 146.00; 750-800 lbs 140.00-150.00; 800-900 lbs 130.00-140.75.
