Investigating an armed robbery reported in Marshall at approximately 5:22 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper reportedly located the suspected vehicle at the intersection of Highway 240 and Route 41 just minutes later.

Four male occupants of the vehicle had allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint, taking his wallet. The officer of record reports that while one of the suspects, Marvon Deshawn Gordon, 17, of Kansas City, was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold at the Saline County Jail, a baggie of marijuana was allegedly located inside one of Gordon's shoes.

Gordon was charged Wednesday, May 3, with a class D felony of delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a county or private jail or correctional center except with a written prescription. No additional charges have yet been filed in the case.
