Compared to last week, based on limited comparable sales steers sold mostly 2.00-6.00 higher and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher. Several quality consignments of mostly yearlings were offered. The feeder market continues to draw strength from the higher cash sales of fed cattle. Demand was good with a moderate to heavy supply. The feeder offering was made up of near 62 percent steers and bulls, and 38 percent heifers and 72 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 8 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady.
