Felony charges of property damage, leaving scene of accident filed against Marshall man

Class E felony charges of first degree property damage and leaving the scene of an accident - property damage exceeding $1,000 were filed Monday, March 20, against Ramiro Fuentes-Diaz, 38, of Marshall.

According to the probable cause statement in the case, Fuentes-Diaz was identified as the driver of a vehicle which struck a residence on the 900 block of South English Avenue Sunday, March 19, at approximately 3:38 p.m. He then allegedly reversed his vehicle back onto the street and left the scene.

Fuentes-Diaz was also charged with a class B misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol concentration was allegedly registered at .304.
