Volunteers raise frame of Habitat house

Monday, March 20, 2017
Volunteers begin raising the walls for this year’s Saline County Habitat for Humanity house on Saturday, March 18. Crews, including the family chosen to live in the home, began work at 8 a.m., with almost all of the walls standing by that evening. This home will be the Saline County Habitat for Humanity’s 15th partner house, with Jim Steinmetz and Steinmetz Inc. as this year’s construction partner. The new home will be located at the intersection of East Watermill Road and Sunset Drive, in Marshall.
