Marshall man charged with delivery of controlled substance

Kenneth S. Price, 40, of Marshall was charged with two felonies by the Saline County Prosecutor's Office Sunday, March 19.

Charges include delivery of a controlled substance, a class C felony, as well as a class E felony count of driving while revoked / suspended.

According to the probable cause statement, Price, who was known to have an active arrest warrant, was spotted by an off-duty officer at Walmart Saturday, March 18, at approximately 5 p.m. The officer of record reportedly responded to the location and observed as Price entered his vehicle and began leaving the parking lot, at which point a traffic stop was conducted on southbound U.S. Highway 65.

A search of Price's vehicle allegedly resulting in the finding a total of 17.1 grams of methamphetamine, divided into 14 plastic baggies, each ranging in weight from .5 grams to 2 grams.
