Born Sept. 3, 1960, in Landstuhl, Germany, she was the daughter of the late James Henry King and Marie Müller King. On Dec. 31, 1981, she married Leland King, who survives of the home. Debbie, or "Little Debbie" as many knew her, lived in Marshall practically all her life. She worked at Marshall Habilitation Center for nearly 30 years where she was a developmental assistant and attended East Side Church of Christ. Debbie loved her family very much and especially loved being a grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Leland, she is survived by three children, Rachel Ann Raney of Marshall, Jessica Renee Bates and husband Christopher of Marshall and Lee Thomas King and wife Dania Salam-King of Krum, Texas; nine grandchildren, Raquel, Kallie, Lydia, Charles, Brendon, Marissa, Naven and Laith, and a new grandson who will be here in June; five brothers, James B. King, Robert T. "Hobby" King, Jeff King and Greg King, all of Marshall, and Walter Müller of Germany; two sisters, Roswitha Pohl and Renata Buler, both of Germany; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was loved by all.
