Compared to last week, a very light test of steers sold steady to firm, while a light test of heifer calves sold with a higher undertone and yearling heifers sold with a steady undertone. Mostly smaller packages with a high percentage of bulls offered. Demand was moderate with a light supply. The feeder offering was made up of near 17 percent steers, 40 percent bulls, and 43 percent heifers and 35 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 17 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady.

Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 450-500 lbs 168.50-171.50; 500-550 lbs 157.00-163.00; 600-700 lbs 132.00-147.00; 700-750 lbs 124.00. Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 648 lbs 133.50.

Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 pkg 370 lbs 159.00; 450-500 lbs 137.00-148.50; 500-600 lbs 122.00-143.00, pkg 585 lbs fleshy 120.00; 600-650 lbs 120.00-122.25, pkg 635 lbs calves 118.00; 700-750 lbs 116.00-118.00.
