Compared to a light test last week, steers under 700 lbs traded steady to 6.00 higher on improved quality, heavier weights sold with a steady undertone and some 350-450 lb steers sold with a higher undertone. Heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher. A quality run of feeder

cattle was offered made up of many medium sized consignments. Demand was moderate with a heavy supply. Near 61 percent steers and bulls, 39 percent heifers and 57 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 7 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady.
