Cattle Auction Report for 9/27/16
 
Receipts:  310    Week Ago:  341    Year Ago:  311 

   Compared to last week, no good price comparison, however the undertone
was steady.  Demand moderate. Supply light, the feeder offering consisted
of 43 percent steers and bulls, 42 percent heifers and 45 percent of the
feeders were over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls consisted of 15 percent of the
total offering. Slaughter Cows 3.00-5.00 lower. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1 Pkg 441 lbs 160.50; Pkg 474 lbs
157.00; Pkg 548 lbs 144.50; Few 600-625 lbs 126.00-130.00; Pkg 702 lbs
120.50; Pkg 778 lbs 121.25. Medium and Large 1-2 Pkg 452 lbs 140.00;
Few 500-525 lbs 130.00-130.50.
